Fotoceller med "point spot" teknologi
Vår nye serie fotoceller (PD30CNBxxPS) med “Point Spot” teknologi er utviklet for å eliminere forstyrrende lyskilder. Forstyrrende lyskilder kan påvirke sensorytelsen og stabiliteten på standard fotoceller. De nye fotocellene har en godt synlig rød LED-lysstråle uten “glorie”, som er smal og presis. Den synlige strålen gjør også innstillingen meget enkel.

Lainate, February 2017 – Carlo Gavazzi Automation, the international electronics group with activities in the design, manufacture and marketing of electronic equipment, today launches its new series of photoelectric sensors, the PD30CN…PS with PointSpot.
The visible red light narrow beam makes detection more accurate and allows detection of smaller objects, if compared to standard sensors, but larger than those a laser can detect.
This new PD30CN…PS series consists of a background suppression version as well as a polarized retro-reflective version, both with a narrow red light PointSpot beam.
The sensing distance is controlled by means of a potentiometer placed on the back of the housing and the adjustment is optimized for easy settings.
“With the launch of this new series of photoelectric sensors, our aim is to expand our offer of PD30 sensors with high-end PointSpot light sensors able to eliminate “halo” light disturbance and increase detection reliability,” says Torben Rochat, International Product Manager. “Carlo Gavazzi expects a significant sales growth mainly due to the fact that the PointSpot technology is more precise than the standard LED technology.”
This new sensor series has been developed by our Competence Centre in Denmark in order to enhance our PD30 series by providing optimized sensing performance mainly required in the following market segments: Packaging & Wrapping, Materials Handling, Plastic & Rubber and Machine Tools.
